Why Inuvik?
Why Inuvik?
This bustling town of 3,300 is the largest Canadian community north of the Arctic Circle. A centre for government, education, exploration and tourism, Inuvik lies at the edge of one the world’s most scenic river deltas.
It is just a short hop by air to Arctic communities like Tuktoyaktuk on the shore of the Beaufort Sea or to Aklavik at the base of the Richardson Mountains.
And, of course, once you see the northern lights, you'll want to see them again and again.
Inuvik prides itself on being a business savvy community with a long history of hosting major events and festivals for over 20 years.
The municipal Midnight Sun Complex hosts large trade shows and more intimate gatherings year-round.
Professional planners will see to it that your event not only runs on time and on budget, but also packs in a host of added attractions!
Some past events hosted in Inuvik include:
-
Western Premiers Conference
-
National Energy Board Round table
